Competition law covers economic competition between firms in market places. We advise our clients on merger requirements, dealing with complaints about anti-competitive conduct, new developments in competition law, and class-actions related to anti-competitive conduct.

Corporate & Commercial

We have one of the largest Corporate & Commercial practices in South Africa and receive many national and international awards for our work in this sector.
This team deals with mergers and acquisitions, drafting commercial agreements, and a range of commercial issues, such as corporate governance, the Companies Act, broad-based black economic empowerment and JSE listings.

A litigator at heart?
Our dispute resolution team litigates in South African courts at all levels and has experience in resolving conflict through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration and mediation.
Dispute resolution work includes consulting with clients, drafting court notices and pleadings, conducting legal research and attending court proceedings.
